Car Restoration Company Expands With New State-of-the-Art Shop
New workshop provides a state-of-the-art sterile environment for assembling hot rods.

SAN ANTONIO, TX, October 28, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jeff Lilly Restorations announces the opening of a new, state-of-the art assembly shop for their custom work. Assembling hot rods from scratch requires a sterile, dust-free environment to prevent any possibility of scratches and this new shop has everything needed for an efficient operation.

A mini workshop sits inside the main assembly area in case any dirty work needs to be done, keeping the main area sterile. Precautions, such as the wearing of latex gloves to prevent the transference of oils from the fingers, are taken as a matter of course.

"Having plenty of room is extremely important during the assembly process," says CEO Jeff Lilly. "There are over 10,000 parts on each project and the assembly area has to be organized in such a way as to enable flow and maximize efficiency. It is vital, for example, to prevent dust spreading from one area to another."

Jeff Lilly Restorations is a family business that has been building and restoring cars for over 50 years.

"It's hard to improve something that has been refined so well over the years," says head restoration technician, Jack Petlewski. "However, we believe in 'CANEI' (constant and never-ending improvement). We are constantly searching for ways to upgrade and make our operation even more efficient, raising the bar even higher in terms of quality."
