LG Electronics Launches New Production Line Working to Better Serve the Local Community
World leading provider of consumer electronics and digital technologies , LG Electronics (LGE) recently announced the official launch of its new Omega full automatic twin tub washing machines production line in Jordan.


/Consumer News Articles/ - AMMAN, JORDAN, March 28, 2008 - The new production line was inaugurated at a ceremonial event held on March 25th 2008. The ceremony was attended by Jordan's Minister of Industry and Trade H.E. Mr. Amer Al Hadidi, General Manager of LGE's Washing Machine Line in the Middle East and South Africa, Mr. Kae Bong Sung, General Manager of the LGE Amman Branch, Mr. Kevin cha, Board Chairman of the Middle East Complex (MEC), an agent for LGE products in Jordan, Mr. Osama Al khalili, MEC's Assistant Director for Marketing Mr. Ghazi Farouq and other members of LGE's management team.
The new production line was inaugurated to respond to changing customer demands and to further reiterate LGE's ongoing aims to fuel the market with products that combine the attributes of cost effectiveness, quality and good value for money.
This new endeavor is positioned to produce up to 1000 washing machines per day and by its adoption of the highest international standards of industrial excellence, it is set to produce 10,000 state of the art washing machines within its first year of inauguration.
By capitalizing on the lucrative investment climate that Jordan provides, LGE is working to position itself through this new launch as the technology and consumer electronics provider of choice for members of this community. It is to achieve its goal through the strong bonds it forms with its agents in Jordan and the region, and this new line is only a reiteration of this long-term strategic goal.
Commenting on the new launch Mr. Khalili said, "As agents for LGE Products in Jordan, we are proud to be celebrating this notable achievement.
